Kappa Sigma Chapter
The Kappa Sigma chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated was chartered on the campus of Western Carolina University on Saturday April 11, 1981 by Brother William E. Settles. It was the gift chapter formed in the Western part of North Carolina. The Kappa Sigma chapter played a significant part in the chartering of the other mountain area chapters. Mu Tau Chapter
The Mu Tau Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., was chartered on the campus of Mars Hill College in November of 1986 and re-activated at Mars Hill University in March 2014. The fraternity is an organization that challenges and equips undergraduate students to pursue life after college.
